I liked this theme for Bowser Jr. a lot, but it's pretty underrated. Or I'm just weird.

And of course there's the final boss themes for Bowser's Inside Story and plenty of songs from Super Paper Mario. Seeing how a lot of people are praising the music from that game... I'd say it's finally time to stick it to the man...

I've replied to this thread before, and my favorite music from any Mario game remains the same, but I feel like I have to mention a few themes I've gotten into since then that cut it pretty close.

Let me just say this - I ADORE Antasma's theme xD. It makes me tap my toes whenever I listen to it, and it is to my ears what chocolate cake is to my taste buds . Also, I really like the Koopalings' second battle theme from New Super Mario Bros. Wii (which was also used in 2 and U). It's really energetic, and it gets me hyped up for another boss battle !

And, finally... THE FINAL BOSS THEME FROM NEW SUPER MARIO BROS. WII! I'm sorry, but the final boss themes from the other games (excluding some from the Mario and Luigi subseries) don't even come CLOSE to how beautiful and majestically epic this is! It really makes you feel heroic at the end of the game (unless you lose O_o), and it fits giant Bowser perfectly, in my opinion .

Derp5 : My favorite one is definitely Dark Bowser. There's no way that a song can be better than this one. It is soooo epic, heroic, I feel like it is the final step before the journey ends. I mean, seriously, this theme fits the best for a final boss!

Super Mario Bros 3 Underwater world have one of best music of Mario games for me so calm and cool in 8bits sound of nes

My favorite music in any Mario game would have to be the final boss theme in Mario & Luigi: Bowser's Inside Story because it truly shows what the DS was capable of sound wise. That theme may actually be my favorite song in video gaming history! It truly symbolizes what a final boss theme should sound like, and it was orchestrated perfectly. I'm not sure how Nintendo could possibly top that. It's so great, that it was brought to the new Smash Bros games. Brawling with that theme playing in the background is one of the most epic ways to play Smash!

No music list of Mario can't include without Gusty Garden Galaxy or the Final Boss Theme of Mario and Luigi: Bowser's Inside Story because they are just that good.

I think my fave has to be the Dire Dire Docks theme from Super Mario 64. I never owned the game, but I found the music through youtube a few ... well -- make that many, now -- years ago and fell in love with it. I've never heard a more relaxing bit of Mario music. The theme also lends itself well to being remixed, and I've found a good few that are equally pleasant to listen to. I have all of them saved by this point, including my FAVOURITE remix, the Calm Waters one done by myrtorp on  youtube.  It's like a glass harp version, and is perfect for sleeping to.

I have to say my favorite song in any Mario game is the first level in Super Mario Bros 3. It was the first Mario game I've ever played and it's stuck with me for years. Even now when I play Mario, I can hear it faintly in the background. 

My absolute favorite is probably the Grass World Theme from Super Mario Bros. 3. It was the one track that made me realize that video game music is worth listening to. World 1-2 comes in very close second. I remember being "hypnotized" by someone playing the game because the music was addicting.

Beep Block Skyway from Super Mario 3D World is my favorite Mario game song. With or without the beeps, it's fantastic! I love most of the soundtrack from Super Mario 3D World

I like Double Cherry Pass, Beep Block Skyway, and Bob-Omb Battlefield the most. Those three are always stuck inside my head!
Of course, if this included Mario RPG's and such, I would have a few more. lol But yeah, those three are some of my favorite tracks from Mario games.

My favorite super mario music is Forest Maze on Super Mario RPG

Has to be a tie. The ending theme from Super Mario World is a sentimental favorite. The other would be the cut-scene music from Mario Bros after the bonus phase where it introduces the new enemies you'll face. Such a groovy tune to follow the tallying of bonus points. But I'm sure that there's more that I've never even heard.

I liked the music that played during the battles with bowser is mario 64.

When you gain the star weapon, but mostly it would have to be rainbow road on Mario kart 64. The music is so peaceful and makes you wanna relax. Music like that I tend to like a lot more better.

My favorite Mario music is the Koopa Shell theme from SM64. It's so catchy and I sing to it embarassingly every time I hear it. It makes me feel amazing.

My favorite has to be from the Mario and Luigi series - Dream Team, Victory in the Dream World. (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=otTWcMs7Ifk ). This theme gives me an upbeat feeling and the motivation to move on.

Of all Mario games, I like the themes from the Mario and Luigi series the most. I don't know why but they are always nice to hear. I can't forget about the Super Mario Bros Overworld Theme. A real classic and beautiful at the same time.

I'd probably have to go with the Grass World music from either the second or third Super Mario Bros.

I think a second would be the world 1 theme from Super Mario Bros 3.
