'Kay. So. I found about this little gem in the making a couple of days ago. Because I read a ridiculous amount of gaming webcomics, one of them had a comic related to this: Project TRICO Leaked Test Footage

This is the next project by Team Ico, who, for those of you who may or may not have known, were responsible for Ico and Shadow of the Colossus. I'd like to know what others' thoughts are on this. Keep in mind that this footage is a year or so old, so a number of concepts could have already changed.

I'm very hopeful for this, I never did clear ICO but I cleared Shadow of the Colossus. And if this game is just half as goos as those then daaaaamn.

I've never played ICO, but I did play through Shadow of the Colossus through normal and hard modes, and I love it to death. A lot of people are complaining about the baby gryphon being ugly, but I think it's adorable and would choke up the money to get a PS3 just because I want the gigantic little bastard.

I'm about as far into the dark on TRICO's place in the timeline as you are. It's still pretty early to glean much of anything about it, but as you've seen from the comments on that video, people are already throwing a ridiculous amount of speculation about on that, who that kid is, what the gryphon's purpose is (for some reason people think it looks part dog, I don't see it : |), and whether or not it's going to be a total flop.

I have high hopes for it, personally. Shadow of the Colossus was incredible, and I'm sure I'd feel the same way about ICO. Considering Team Ico's track record, as small as it is, the stakes are pretty high.
