My favorite Pokémon would be either Nidoking or Electabuzz, probably Nidoking as my favorite, because Nidoking is just awesome and Electabuzz was always in my party as my electric type (if I used one) in the first games since most of the other electric ones stunk in the first game. If I had to go outside the first 150, it would be Houndoom or Tyranitar because I took a liking to dark in Gold and Silver, even though you couldn't get either until after the Elite Four or trade.

This thing has everything you need from a Pokémon, a varied move pool from types like Bug, Dragon, Grass, Ghost, Fire, and Psychic. Also, it has a Mega Evolution that has AMAZING HAIR! It's also awesomely powerful, but OH GOD THE HAIR!

My favorite Pokémon would be Sceptile because I think it looks awesome and Grass is one of the main types I use, even though it has all those weaknesses (Bug, Fire, Flying, Ice, and Poison). It also can learn Earthquake and Slam which can take care of the ones it is not very effective against.

I have too many favorite Pokemon to list. So I'll just give one per region and hope that shows it well enough. For gen one it's Raichu. Adorable rodent that can also hit pretty hard if you give it the chance. Gen two is Espeon for being a Psychic type plus a cat.. Or whatever else it is. Gen three is Metagross. A Psychic and Steel type walking tank is a pretty nice idea when you think about it. Then for gen four I'd have to go with Staraptor. Finally a beginning of region bird that can actually do some real damage and be useful on a team. Gen five would go to Chandelure. While a lot of people don't like it, I kinda like the whole theme of it and it's looks. Finally, gen six would be Aegislash or Meowstic. Aegislash for being a Ghost and Steel type with two different forms that focus on offense or defense and awesome looks. Meowstic for being an adorable Psychic type cat that switches the normal male and female roles for the species. With the female being offensive and male defensive. Kinda helps that the male also packs along Prankster with it.

Playing the gen2 games (specifically crystal) on another website is what got me back into Pokémon, my starter was cyndaquil, and because it looked so awesome even with the 8-bit graphics with bad colour, my favorite Pokémon was quilava, now I have whole new reasons for quilava to be my favorite!

My favorite Pokémon is Empoleon. The first Pokémon game I ever played was Diamond, and Piplup was one of the starting Pokémons. I chose it, and we went on a huge adventure together, and Piplup eventually evolved (twice) into Empoleon, and I could one shot almost every Pokémon I came by at that point.
