Aside from the obvious Furret, who will always be my all time favorite, I do have some more recent love for a few pokemon.

Archeops for one. I was the biggest dinosaur geek as a little kid and I still love dinosaurs and fun dino facts and documentaries. Archeops has such a colorful and cool design and I feel like as a fossil it's really under appreciated. I know it has a bad ability but honestly I've used it a few times and the ability has never really hindered me. It has amazing move coverage and hits really hard, especially with Acrobatics. I'm still sad that its model in the recent games looks so weird. I loved its vibrant and animated sprite in gen 5!

My answer has greatly changed over the years towards Alolan Exeggutor. While I've never played the game this Pokemon comes from, I absolutely love the design behind the character, the nature of regional based variations of Pokemon, and the happy, carefree look this stupid palm tree is always giving. I wouldn't like to see one angry, and it's hilarious to me that some depictions of it don't even show its head due to its immense height. It's the best Pokemon in my eyes, and holds it own in many a battle.

Here's a Few of my own Favorites! (With Explanations cause why not, always nice to analyze stuff)

Totodile: Probably one of the first Pokemon that Truly spoke with me when I was younger. I never realized how much a fan of Alligators and Crocodiles I was until later on in my life but this lil dude's just always been on the top of the list cause of my obsession and passion for the Pokemon and their Evos

Treecko: I remember I used to always be jealous of Ash in the Anime cause his was so cool and all, when I got Emerald for the first time I choose them. Probably still one of my favorite evolution lines to this day. Their Mid evo especially speaks to me, but Treecko will always be the MVP

Lugia: Mostly just in the fact that this was the first one for me and my nostalgic bonds of watching Pokemon 2000 as a small child really impacted my brain. It was the thing I'd put as my Username in everything (Lugiaboy to be exact.) and still always will love the Whale Bird

Krokorok: And to the extent, the whole evolution line as well. Again with my love and admiration for Crocos and Diles. Plus he was one of my favorites in Unova. I always loved the design and how cool he looked.
