After hours and hours of trying, I gave up on installing the plugin on windows 8, but I found something out. My antivirus program (Norton, I hate it) was blocking the installer, causing it to not work. I just uninstalled the antivirus and it let me install the plugin. If anyone else is having this problem, you can try what I did and see if it works. I just thought I would post this here because it could help somebody.

Oh thank goodness. I was thinking about that; I'm supposed to be getting a new laptop sometime soon and I was wondering if the Vizzed games would play on it. I've heard things about Windows 8...

As far as the anti-virus software goes, that happens to people from time to time. Especially with norton. That is usually one of the first things you should try when trying to trouble shoot if something is not installing.

This kind of makes sense, since Windows 8 is binary compatible with Windows 7, but at least now we have proof, so as more people start getting Windows 8 PC, we can point them to this thread saying it works.

All I did was disabled Norton on my windows 8 computer and it installed fine... there are also settings in Norton too that allow for you to choose to block an install or not rather than Norton doing that automatically.
