If I play first-person-shooters than only with a mouse.
I think with a mouse you are faster and you will have a lot more flexibility than a controller.

I'd have to say a controller, but mostly because that's how I grew up playing games and I just can't get used to a mouse/keyboard set up. I know that a lot of serious gamers who play FPS on their computers prefer the mouse setup, but to me it's just unnatural and difficult.
