This might sound weird, but if I had to choose, I would say burn. This is because if you are frozen, you just die slowly and your limbs get frostbite and you lose all feeling in your body and your sanity, it is a lot worse than people think. Fire would be very painful, obviously, but would be much quicker.

I think I would rather burn to death. It would be quicker, faster, and seeing as how I am stuck in Hawaii for at least the next 3 years, it is highly unlikely that would I would be able to freeze to death, even if I wanted to.

Anyway if you had actually read some posts prior to yours you would have known in fact, burning is the
less painful way to die as your nerves would be quickly burned away whilst if you were to freeze you
nerves would remain in-tack until you died which would mean overall you would suffer more pain and
agony which isn't exactly as fun as a quick death? Unless of course you wanted to punish yourself :L

Well If something has happened to you "To Death" that means you died, so there is NO CHANCE that you survive. lol

That being said both would be painful as heck but I would probably rather burn to death because it would be much quicker. Theoretically it could take you hours/days to freeze to death but to burn would only take a matter of mins at most

I, as a scientist have observed that, due to our warm blood, lowering the general body temperature of a human is a long, and painful process to actually kill the person, depending the amount of clothing on the person, the weather, and whether or not there is a heat source in the immediate vicinity. I would choose burning, because as you get colder and colder, your body parts become frozen and fall off as they wait for the great salvation of warmth, which won't come. Burning to death, even though extremely agonizing, is quicker. Burning is clearly the one for ones who choose not to loose sanity in the frozen climate.
