So I saw a post about someone looking for information on games he couldn't remember, and it made me think of a few that I've always been looking for. So I'm going to post mine as well-I really would love it if anyone could tell me the names of these games, and I would appreciate any help.

Game one was an educational game from way back in the dim days of my third (?) grade years (So, like, maybe all the way back in 1990 or so?) I remember playing it at my grade school.

It was a Sim game about parks and the environment. You placed plants and trees-there was a whole bunch of different ones, and you could learn about them before you placed them. The game was viewed from overhead and the trees looked like the ones you put on blueprints (so no real graphics).  You'd place a bunch of plants and trees and then fast forward the environment like five years and get to see how certain plants died, certain plants got over-run, how long certain trees lived...there might have been animals and stuff involved too, but I can't remember. It was totally dorky, but it was really neat to try to balance things. And you could play with the environmental controls and heat it up, or give it harsher weather...

Game two was a simple computer game called Spheres or Spherz or something like that. It was kind of like Simon Says meets Tetris; balls would fall from the top and then the four big Spheres around the outside would 'sing' and you could clear balls from the field to match what the big spheres called out. There was a rhythmic challenge too, and there was cute drawings and the voices would get progressively higher and more excited as you completed links. I really liked that game a lot, and I can't find anyone who even remembers it.

farmboy8: Yeah I'm sorry I thought I said that. Apple computers, color but floppy disk era for the park Sim.

Spheres was on a computer and I don't know if it was a disc, floppy or CD. I don't remember much about it except that it was fun.

farmboy8 : Mmm that's not it, but thank you so much for trying.

It's probably long gone. I'm pretty sure it was an 'educational' game, but it doesn't show up under the same company that did Oregon Trail (and so many other games I remember from the dim dark days of my childhood). I haven't had a shred of luck with it either.

Mada: That's not it, but very close. Close enough to maybe fill the itch, though. I remember this game vaguely. Thank you for suggesting it!
