If I had to choose one of the Pokémon games as my favorite it has to be either Crystal or Emerald, since I haven't tried the newest games I can only choose between the first 3 generations.
I think they are the best games because, to me they look like a more well thought through, with the map, animations and so forth.
That's just my opinion ;D

The best pokemon game to me would be a game like Pokemon Mystery Dungeon: Blue rescue team. I loved the recruitment system but I hated the part where you had to take a quiz instead of being able to pick your own pokemon.

I would say Pokémon Pearl because it has new Pokémon's and the way it is made is just so fun.  The best part about it is that you can write stuff down or look at what's supper effective or not.  It is a fun game to play.
