my favorite pokemon games has to be the trading card game on the gameboy. that was the best game on the gameboy. i just wish that they would make more of them for like the wii and ds. the best part was getting all the packs when you beat someone. just like getting a real pack of cards it was so exiting casue you never knew what you were gonna get and you could make you own decks.

Gold, Silver, and Crystal were all the best, but then they re-made them as Heartgold/Soulsilver. The remake had everything the original games had to offer plus more areas, more pokemon, and a better gaming experience. So yeah, Heartgold/Soulsilver are now the best.

I gotta say that Platinum is my favourite so far. It is better than D/P, and doesn't use the touch screen so much like HG/SS. I usually use that game now for training my awesome Pokemon but it still isn't boring for me.

I say, that the best games in the pokemon series would have to be HeartGold and SoulSilver. Mainly because I really liked generation two, aswell as the games, but they remade it and made the experience so much better.
