If you've played any arcade game which the Plugin reports name-example.chd not found, you can report that game in this thread and I'll patch the game with the CHD file.

If you've played one of these games before I patched it, the Plugin is set up to load the old version of the game without the CHD. So you'll have to delete the game from your Plugin Data Folder first.

You'll find the game from this file path on your computer:
Windows 8, 7, Vista - C:ProgramDataVizzedVizzedRgrPluginDownloads

Windows XP - C:Documents and SettingsAll UsersApplication DataVizzedVizzedRgrPluginDownloads

Or you may find it by this method:
Go to Start Menu -> All Programs -> Vizzed Retro Game Room -> Open Plugin Data Folder -> Downloads.

To find which file you'll need to delete, go to the game page and towards the top right of the page you'll see a link Add or Edit Game's Content Earn CP + Viz, click this which will open an edit page in which you'll find the file name in the top right of that edit-page. Example: maxforce.zip is the file for Maximum Force v1.05, so you'd delete the file maxforce (from your Plugin Data Folder).

--------------------
Reported games thus far that will work
-Maximum Force v1.05
-Pop'n Music 2
-Red Earth (Euro 961121)
-Salary Man Champ (GCA18 VER. JAA)
-San Francisco Rush

---------------------
Also go ahead and report here broken arcade games.

Singelli : Those have been re-uploaded.

Maximum Force v1.05 = Delete zip folder: maxforce

The other game crashes the plugin when I tested it with the CHD.

Don't you also have to delete it from your ROMs folder for it to re-download and include the CHDs? Or does just deleting the zip from the Downloads folder take care of that on its own?

Crazy Li : You could, but it's not necessary; once the new zip is downloaded the plugin will replace the existing folder matching that name in the Roms folder which will include the CHD.

This Gundam game and this one are missing a .chd file. Here is another one that needs a .chd file, though they all seem to need a different one.  It seems like all the Gundam games are going to need one.

By the way, whenever I report these, would it be easier for you if I go ahead and list what .chd file needs to be added?  Just in case, let me go ahead and list them for you.   The first game needs gdl-0001.chd, the second one needs gdl-0006.chd, and the third one I listed needs zga1dvd0.chd.

By the way, can remind me how to access the file that you said I needed to delete to get the Maximum Force game to work? I tried going to the start up menu, all programs, and then Vizzed Retro Game Room, but there are only three things there: a link to vizzed, an uninstall icon, and a folder-looking icon which really just seems to be a shortcut to the installation file.

EDIT: Here is another one.  It needs zdx1dvd0.chd.

MORE EDITS:  This is not a Gundam game, but it's missing a chd.  It's missing a29b02.chd AND another file (other than the parent I added) though.
This game just needs
gdl-0013.chd.
Last one for now: This game just needs gds-0008.chd.

Singelli : I'll likely get those re-uploaded by later today.

About listing the chd file names that are needed, I'd say not to worry because I'll likely look it up even though you listed it, lol.

About the folder in the start menu that's listed as Open Plugin Data Folder... I've noticed that it will do that -- attempt to install it (when it should already be installed )... when that happens, it's looking for the MSI of the Plugin and won't work if the downloaded MSI isn't in the same directory as you downloaded it to. So you could make a new folder in your Documents and uninstall the Plugin, re-download the MSI and move it to that new folder and keep it there, then re-install. Or, in your folder Options go to Tools at the top and open Folder Options, click View, and there should be an option for "Show hidden, files, folders, and drives"... once that is selected you'll see in your C drive a folder named "ProgramData", the Vizzed folder will be in there.

tRIUNE :  Uuuum, yeah, I think I'll try the second option because you're speaking a foreign language to me with your first suggestion.  I don't even have an inkling on what a MSI might be.  LOL

Thanks for the info.  I'll try it once I get home and have a quicker and more stable connection.

tRIUNE :  Here is another game that needs a chd file.

I never did go take care of those other ones, but I don't feel like trying to figure that out right now.  I'll add it on my list of things to do, and I'll probably take care of them as a last step in finishing the 'm' list.

Edit:  Whoops.... that was one I already posted.  I didn't notate it in my notepad. So sorry!  You can ignore this.  lol

Salary Man is missing a .chd.
San Francisco Rush is also missing a .chd.
San Francisco Rush 2049 also falls into this category.
San Francisco Rush: The Rock..... so in love with chd's.
This Sega Golf game is missing a chd, but I'm pretty sure it won't work anyways, just looking at the info on mamedb.
Senko No Ronde is missing a .chd.
So is Senke No Ronde Special.
Shakatto something-or-other needs a chd, but I also think this one won't work due to mamedb info.
This game with a really long name is missing a chd.

I'm going to just edit this post with any more than I find until you can get around to them.

Savage Quest is missing a .chd AND needs a redump.  Since I'm not certain how that works, and mamedb listed it as a non-working game, I went ahead and marked it as a loading error. I just wanted to put that here in case I was wrong.

Gojita : It may be that your graphic card will not display the arcade games. You could check for updates to your video card driver. Feel free to send a message to the RGR Staff or create a specific thread for help.

Singelli : I'm pretty sure that game will need the actual arcade cabinet to work.

Vizzed.com is very expensive to keep alive! The Ads pay for the servers.

Vizzed has 3 TB worth of games and 1 TB worth of music.  This site is free to use but the ads barely pay for the monthly server fees.  If too many more people use ad block, the site cannot survive.

We prioritize the community over the site profits.  This is why we avoid using annoying (but high paying) ads like most other sites which include popups, obnoxious sounds and animations, malware, and other forms of intrusiveness.  We'll do our part to never resort to these types of ads, please do your part by helping support this site by adding Vizzed.com to your ad blocking whitelist.
