Ok so I heard that this is suppose to take place before ocarina of time(or so Nintendo says) and because the other two games Zelda 1, 2, and Out don't fit in I'm confused about whether I should get it or not? Because link has known Zelda since whenever and Nintendo saying it's not a sequel to twilight princess but it comes before Out! Twilight princess gave some pretty good hints about there being a sequel so you would think...

If there is going to be a sequel I hope it comes out soon.
I don't really really know a lot about Zelda anymore. It would be cool to see another.

If you check Aprils game informer it states that they are currently working on a new Zelda game right now that's why they borough back the game cube Zelda game but in had so they have time to complete the game but I doubt the next Zelda will be out soon probily end of 2013 early 2014

If you get the awesome book hyrule hystoria, it outlines the time lines of all the games and even connects them to each other. Skyward sword is thought to be an overall prequel. The inhabitants of skyloft are the beings in which legends were told of. Eventually they come down to the surface and create hyrule. In twilight princess I believe the city in the sky could be remnants of skyloft. But I recommend the book it continuously blew my mind as I read on, it even has three split time lines after the events of ocarina of time. One where link was sent back to his childhood to warn Zelda of future events which eventually leads to twilight princess, one where ganon defeated link and got the triforce which leads to the events of a link to the past, and one after the events of his adulthood which lead elsewhere lol. Also the time line of his childhood leads to majoras mask. Hope this info helped clear up some things lol.
