I am trying to play super mario 64 Multiplayer, On netplay, But when It tries to connect to the server it Gives me a timeout error and then the emulator gets closed. Btw, It says the game does not work on Vizzed RGR Plugin, Now I can choose the other option But it says you need the RGR Plugin + Emulator 1964? what?

P.S: I think i posted this on the wrong forum...

What server are you trying to connect to for the netplay session?

The game doesn't work on Mupen but it works on 1964. I think 1964 is the one that does netplay anyway so this shouldn't be a problem.

Alternatively, you may be blocking the required ports to connect to the server (firewalls have a tendency to do this). I think the N64 netplay server uses port 27888 UDP so that would need to be open. If you're behind a router, you'll need to have the router forward to your local IP.

I think N64 uses a different system for netplay than some of the other emulators here. David would probably better be able to confirm that.

You still may need to forward a port on your router in order to get it to work. The method to do that varies by router, so you'll have to use Google for details for your particular router.
