The 24" one. I want to play old game systems on it but it doesn't have any composite ports. So my question is, what is the cheapest and best way to hook composite cables up to it? I found an HDMI adapter on Amazon for around $40-$50, but is there a better way? The video cables work in the green component port but it comes out black and white and grainy. The only thing I'm worried about when it comes to these "HDMI Upscalers" is that the picture will look bad. Considering these game weren't meant to be 1080p I feel like the image will be stretched in some way, but since the screen is so small I'm not sure if it's anything to worry about. What do you guys think? Should I try the HDMI adapter or is there a better solution?

This is probably not the best place to post your problem in my opinion.  You should try calling a tech support number, or maybe going up to the store you bought the item at to see if there's any way to fix your solution.  I hope I helped in some way.  -Xepheria

It's a lot easier to ask for opinions here than bothering tech support when it's not their job to tell people how to make their product do things it' not meant to do.

HDMI adapters shouldn't be that expensive but then again, I never converted from composite to HDMI before. I've only done DVI to HDMI (that adapter cost $2). In general cables and adapters are VERY cheap to make so online you can normally find them at low prices. That $40 - $50 is outrageous.

What are all the inputs your TV has?

I'm guessing composite is the only thing the consoles in question can use? If they could take an S-Video cable and you had an S-Video port this would be the way to go.

Also, yes upscaling causes undesirable results. When I hook my PSP up to my HDTV, it looks like garbage (and that's not even upscaling to 1080p, just component cables). Surprisingly, my PS2 doesn't come out THAT bad in 1080p though. Maybe because it's the actual PS3 itself doing the upscaling.

There are 2 HDMI ports and one set of component ports as well as the white and red audio ports.

Unfortunately, unlike Crazy Li's DVI-HDMI cable, you're not converting one type of wire to another type, you're actually converting an analog signal to a digital one, so there is no such thing as a simple "cable" that will do the trick. You'll have to buy an actual converter box, but if you look around enough, I'm sure you can find one on the cheap.

Thanks for the input everyone! I think I'm going to get the HDMI converter box.
