Ok, so it's a 2012 model instead of a 2013, so it's technically not "new" but it has had no previous owner and only 2,000 miles from test driving and such. That's close enough for me to consider new.

My previous car was a 2001 model, so yea, it has been a while since I bought another car. The old car had 207,000 miles on it *gasp* and was on the verge of falling apart. I had to take it for three minor repairs in the past two months that weren't worth how much I had to pay for them, but there were other issues (like the engine suddenly cutting out even after several attempts at repair) which had been a big concern for at least two years now.

It's a 2012 Toyota Avalon Limited. Nav system and rear monitor, Bluetooth, voice recognition and system activation, push button start, keyless entry, 4-slot CD, standard and satellite radio, and USB for smart device (eg: iPod, smart phone) usage.

The images are stock photos though the right colors (except for the front interior which are instead the same as the color of the back seat photo. But the wood color, etc are the same.)

I grant you it has been less than a day, but so far I love it!

That seems a little too high-tech to me!  I prefer older models of trucks, such as a 2002 Dodge Dakota.  I see that you prefer more high-tech stuff, which I respect.  Also, I like stick-shift.  I don't know why, I just do.

Wow... I think I almost fell back out of my chair when I saw how many miles your old car had.  WOWSERS.  LOL  Even my car right now doesn't have that many, and it's pretty old!

However, your new car is much more up to date than my own.  I don't know how I feel about keyless entry though, and I'd have to be MIGHTY convinced it was a safe feature in order to even consider it.  LOL

In any case, I spent my seven years out of the house with no car, so I kind of know what it's like to get a 'new' car.  Enjoy it, and be safe!

Thou yours got better features for it. lol

How much you get for it? or your paying if you don't mind me asking?

Xepharia :   I've never been a truck person. I like being lower to the ground and always feel a little bit claustrophobic for some reason in trucks, jeeps, and SUVs. But I didn't want a compact car either. My first car was a compact, and it just didn't suit me (plus, it was like tin foil when I crashed it. Thank God for airbags.) It's a very nice, comfortable car. The rest of the high-tech stuff is really more of a bonus than things high on my wish list.

Singelli : Yea, I have worked my vehicles to death on the road between work and pleasure. "Keyless entry" simply means not needing to pull out a set of keys to unlock, whether you insert the key or press the buttons on the key chain remote. The way keyless works is you have that same key chain device (lock, unlock, trunk, emergency horn) but you just keep it in your pocket or purse. Although the setting can be changed to manual, by default when you walk up to the car, it automatically unlocks because it senses the key chain is very close. When you walk away from the car, it no longer senses the key chain remote, and after a little time passes, the doors automatically lock. The car will also not start unless the doors are closed and the key chain remote is inside of the car (which is both cool and weird.) So it behaves the same way that keys do. No remote = no access.

Oldschool41 : Unless you got ridiculously cheated on your deal, I paid a lot more than you did, but if it lasts as long as the last car did, it was well worth it for the luxuries.

Wow! That looks cool. Wish I had a new car. It gets boring using the same exact car every single day.
