One of the most disappointing inventions I have ever come across is the Yo-Yo. Not the new fangled yo-yos that come back to you on a spinner of some sort. The regular Yo-Yo. I find it difficult to master and for the average person (and myself) I can only ever get it to come back to me twice before I have to roll it back up. What are some disappointing inventions that you can come up with.

Mia03 : I don't think the actual invention for the yo-yo was a failure. The Yo-yo was originally invented as a weapon. It was a pretty effective and dangerous weapon in it's time.

One invention I think was stupid was an automatic juice dispenser. It was on a commercial and they made it seem a lot better than it looked. (even though I never tried it) You just put it in the juice box then put the cup near it and it pours.
