Mine is getting an N64. It had just came out, and my brother and I were sure our parents couldn't get one, but we asked anyway. lol Christmas morning I believe we were the most shocked we'd ever been in our young lives. After picking our jaws up off of the floor, we couldn't wait to plug up this amazing 3D game machine and play Super Mario 64! I still get nostalgic when I play that game. Good memories.

Mine was the original Nintendo. We were really poor growing up-mom was a single mom supporting two kids and half the time dad's child-support checks bounced. So we never got the new thing, or the expensive thing, and we knew it. So when I saw the Nintendo commercials I really wanted one, but I didn't even dare dream...

And then Christmas morning, we woke up and there were three presents under the tree. Three, that was it. One each for my brother and me, and one 'for the family' from Santa. (We were old enough not to believe in Santa at that point, but it was a running joke that there was always one present from Santa).

It was the Nintendo. And more than just the Nintendo, it was the super special 'only came out at that time' version with the Robot (I think his name was Robby) and the game with the columns that you had to move the robot's arms with the controller to push the columns up and down. Mom blew the entire Christmas budget (and more) on that game, and there was no way she should have, but to this day I can hear the original Mario theme song and remember the look on mom's face when for the first time my brother and I literally screamed in excitement when we unwrapped our Christmas presents....and remember the hours and hours we three spent sitting together playing that game over and over and over.
