I love Luigi's mansion, it is a


great game and I don't believe it gets the praise it deserves. So I


decided to write a review of it in hope of boosting its ratings.


Unfortunately, I haven't played Luigi's mansion in years and I broke my


only copy as a teenager. I stopped by my local thrift shop to pick


up a copy, and the woman there informed me that they did not test the


games before putting them on the shelf, but I saw no visible


scratches so I bought the game and booted it up. And then,the events


of last night. The normal cut scene where Luigi is trying to find his


mansion was played. But after he got to the mansion I noticed


something weird about the way Luigi acted. He looked around more


often, his facial expression was the look of being horrified, he also


seemed to have labored breathing, it looked like he was being chased


by someone who wasn't really there. After I got into the parlor the


scene where Luigi sees his first ghost and E Gadd saves him began.


Luigi looked around but as said before, he looked terrified and in


the background I could almost hear Luigi's heart beating. Luigi looked


around and as I was waiting for the ghost to scare him the screen


zoomed to a table that had Mario sitting there. Luigi seemed excited


to see his brother but as he ran over to Mario he seemed to slow


down a bit and eventually he stopped. Mario then slowly stood up and


turned around, Mario had a disfigured face and pure white eyes. Luigi


screamed a high pitch scream I had never heard in the game before and


ran to the next room, as he left I saw Mario lift up his head and


slowly walk to the room Luigi was in. As I regained control of Luigi


his face was even more horrified and his breathing was even more


labored, he could only walk about twnty steps before his breathing


got so loud I had to stop so he could recover, he looked around much


more often and after awhile I wanted to see if I could get the


breathing to stop by having him sit there for a while but after about thirty seconds I saw Luigi jump in


the air and scream the high pitched scream from before as the Mario


from before suddenly appeared in front of Luigi and the game over


screen was shown. To my surprise, I was able to continue the game.


For fear of what might come next I decided to make a different save


file. But as the opening cut scene was played, Luigi wasn't there. I


figured he would appear as I gained control of the character but


instead the character I got control of was daisy. Her breathing was


labored also and she had a depressed look on her face. I tried to see


what would happen if I went to the room Luigi was in. But when I


went to the parlor, a cut scene was played where daisy looked at the


bottom of a door to see blood coming under it, this being the room


where I stopped with Luigi. I did not regain control of Daisy and the


cut scene continued, daisy walked into the room where Luigi was to see


he had a disfigured face and the white eyes. Though, as Daisy looked


down she could see that Luigi, while having the characteristic's of


Mario, was murdered.
