mrfe : I've gotta warn you right now if you're not at Chapters 9 & 10 yet, they will break your heart. Prepare to cry. I've started putting Chrom and Vaike together in battle in addition to MU with Lucina. MU and Vaike are incredibly tanky at this point and haven't come close to dying for chapters. In fact the super-tanky boss of Chapter 19 killed himself in one turn by attacking Vaike xD. I'm also working to pair Virion up with Panne, they're at a B level support now. Panne's child with Virion's Sniper skills will be deadly

bigNATE : Thanks for the warning! I'll try the pairs you suggested, though I don't have lucina yet. I really like the Virion-panne pair, I'm definitely going to try it. XD

So I finished it last night, and that ending...oooooh man that ending was powerful. Not even because of the story elements (I called everything that was going to happen), but because the character interactions over the entire game paid off beautifully. For reference, I had MU strike the final blow rather than Chrom, and was so heartbreaking, the final scene at the end of the credits (which I also predicted, but the way it was executed was beautiful) just made my night.
Also, my current marriage and offspring tally:

Chrom + Sumia --> , Cynthia (Great Lord and Dark Flier classes)

Avatar + Lucina --> Morgan (Grandmaster class)

Virion + Panne --> Yarne (Taguel class; may change soon to archer or thief)

I'm working on a relationship between Vaike and Lissa (they're at B level support) and also one between Henry and Sully (C level support, so it'll be a little while)

And holy crap the supports are awesome and heartwarming! The way Virion studied taguel customs to connect with Panne was great character development, and his backstory is so touching

Wow, that sounds so nice! I just finished chapter 11, I really started to hate Gangrel. I think you'll agree that they designed him to be hated. I've currently got Fredrick and Sumia married, Chrom and MU at A, working on Chrom + Olivia, and MU + Anna. I'm excited to see what comes of that. I'm so happy with it so far, this is by far the best Fire Emblem game ever. XD I didn't cry, mostly because I almost never can, but it really stirred up some emotions that I never thought a game could. I recruited Nergal, he is so worth the 20k! He is literally undefeatable. Anyway, I'm really enjoying the game. It's not too hard, but it is a challenge. I actually haven't used Vaike at all, he'll be a replay character. I'm playing on hard mode to start off.

This fire emblem is in my top 3 of the best fire emblem of the series, Its asewone, the easiest and the hardest at the same time
