Nah, that's way to much Viz. I mean think about how long it takes for us to build up a healthy amount of viz, Giving out thousands of Viz just like that is a bad idea. What I like to do is keep an eye on the most recent member thing and kindly mention something to them before they get a chance to become one of the RGR newbies.

I don't really like the Viz idea, way to much to offer. Think about it, If 5 people post twice per day and add us as friends, that would be 2,200 viz! Then, they become members a week later and that's 25,000 viz! I've been greeting a few newbies per day so far, so this won't be hard.

We could play net play with them for games like Mario Kart.But I don't have net play.

All I can suggest is just Refer people to vizzed, Refer refer refer, until we will massively get spammed with newbie threads

As a newbie, I have to say that the numerous sections can be a bit daunting.  I understand the need for them, but when you see the list..it can be a bit intimidating.  This coming from a forum vet (from other forums).  I currently am a Moderator on one forum, and a member to at least a handful of others..and while some of them do have a number of sections..Vizzed has the most by far.   Another thing I have noticed, is that when new people post in the introduction thread, there seems to be a lack of greetings.  Now so far I am also guilty of not posting there, and my post count is rather woeful, but I do like to try to add to whatever forum I am a member of.   So I am going to put forth a little more effort..both in greeting new posters, who post in the introduction thread, and in adding posts/topics.  Once I can effectively navigate that is.

Noobolicious : I think what you are saying makes sense. We should not bribe them to post because they already get some Viz from posting, and amount that davideo7 carefully calculated would be the best balance of incentive without ruining the purpose of Viz to a newbie.

I think we can all be very very friendly to new ones, post on their profiles introducing yourself, and start conversations with them. The more they realize how awesome the people on the board are, the more they will want to post.
