Anyway, I'd say I like Mario better. Pacman has very little definition or personality as a character. Pacman games are also more boring.

Gotta go with Mario on this one. I don't see to many games with Pacman in it, and even the ones that do have Pacman, there are way more that have Mario. I have never seen a "Pacman Kart Racing" and I doubt, even if it was made, it would top any of the Mario Karts.

I have to pick Mario for this one.

MARIO! I just love his games and he is such an interesting character. I love pac-man and his games, especially the 3D ones where you go on an adventure. But Mario just has so much more than Pac-Man and probably more than he will ever have! So my vote goes to Mario. Pac-Man is still awesome as well.

Ok, wait a minute, wait a minute. You obviously chose PacmanandMariofan, your username, and made it into a poll. Creative. But which one shall I choose? Ok. I am officaly stuck. Pac-Man was one of my favorite games, but right after that, i found SNES's Super Mario All-Stars, i liked mario. But there is a little of "contra"-versy. See what I did there? Anyways, the Pac-Man series came to a big thinking stop when they didn't know how Junior was going to become of In Ms. Pac-Man. But if your saying about the orignal game, and not part of the series, Pac-Man has nothing in it except GHOSTS being enemies when, if they were real, you could go right though them. Now then, the Mario factor. The only power-up that is "contra"-versal for me (I did it again) is the Mushroom. Which is weird because who grows with a mushroom these days? come on, i know it's a fantisy world, but really! Was Mario Mario Born with a birth defect? He probobly was! I'm making a point here. I have a lot of questions right now, and Mario growing with a Mushroom is gross! Why can't they replace it with a heart or something? But that would have to change the whole game, thus making it A Zelda Ripoff. Which I don't like it, so get a home Link! somewhere where people like you. Mario's taunt even makes him grow! really! So which one is WORSE? PacMan or Mario? I would say mario, But they are all good as well. I want to know why a mushroom is a power-up in almost every mario game! "Growing" just really isn't sanitary. But I have all tricked you into reading this post as I answer that both are good. But really, someone tell me how Shigeru Miyamoto (The creator of Mario) came up with MUSHROOMS as power-ups. Until then, both are good.

Mario. However, if we're talking classic pac-man, I think it would only be fair to compare it to the original mario bros (not Super Mario Bros. on the NES), as the two systems were so different. That said, Classic Mario Bros. over Classic pac-man by far for me. The gameplay was simply better. Pac-man was ok, but Mario bros. had more depth (for a game of it's time anyway) as there were multiple ways of defeating your enemies. Newer pac-man games against newer mario games = same outcome.

they are both very awesome because mario is epic, famous, and fun - but pac-man is addicting and very fun to play. i like both pac-man and mario! they are both AWESOME!!!!

Once again, gotta stick with the plumber. He's got a great 'stache, he can spit fire, and he can fly. Sort of. Pac Man is an alright guy, but he's kind of limited. Plus he hangs out with ghosts-that's kind of creepy. 

mario,  obviously!!! I dislike most of the pacman games. i mean seriously? proffesor pac, baby pac, and even a DOG pac!? Mario also is a lot funner to play .

Here are the aspects of Mario games and Pac-man games...
Storywise : Mario has the same story all the time.Now,Pac-Man doesn't always have to save someone,and the games can take an unexpected turn at some points.
Gameplaywise : Most Mario games are platformers,which turn those games into a test of skill.Pac-Man games include un-defeatable enemies that will kill you if they touch you,so you have to think about which path is the safest,and you have to know how to trick enemies,so,it's a test of both skill and wits.
Soundwise : I believe sound is important in a game.Mario defeats Pac-Man all the way down to the bottom of the well.Nothing beats that bowser orchestra at the end of Super Mario Galaxy 2.Not to mention,Pac-Man songs are usually happy and all-around,while that Mario songs give you the impression that you're on a big journey,and,they are very enjoyable and never get old.
Graphicwise : Eh,i'm not even going to fully comment on this one.Mario games usually tend to have good graphics,and they never disappoint,but,the same could be done to Pac-Man.
Varietywise : Mario has already played Soccer,Baseball,Tennis,Golf,Cards...he has fought powerful adversaries from other worlds like Sonic and Snake,he has raced people both on karts and bikes,and he even taught people how to type.On the other side,we have Pac-Man,which has raced people just like Mario,and,although not too important,has already played part in other games like Mario Kart Arcade GP,which received a sequel,GP2.Mario games have more variety,but Pac-Man platformers tend to be very different from each other.
My veredict on this competition is...it's a Draw Game!

Mario is better than Pac-Man but Pac-man is great too .

Has to be Mario for me Pac Man can be fun but its so repetitive after a while
Mario is more entertaining to me and a lot more of a challenge.
