Okay, I can record sound just fine but for some reason or another I can't get any visual on screen...Any help?

Well, Maybe it's because the video was exported with a ".mov" extension.

Without the necessary codecs, You are only able to hear it... But It will play fine on Youtube.

But, If you want, you can convert it to other format... Just download a video converter.

Okay, I think I can help you out here. I've been doing some video recordings myself (MegaMan X, Mario RPG, and a couple others) and I haven't had the issue but did some reading. Since by default for whatever reason exporting the files goes to .MOV which is a quick time extension codec.

Now by default you usually won't have this, Quick time sorta went out of phase by and large for Microsoft (but is still big for Mac) however you can use a couple things to play the video on your PC.

First is using VLC video player, it does quiet literally have the largest codec reading software out there, and its free. So it won't matter what sort of extension its in, and if it can't read it, it will tell you where to get the codec to install TO read it. Good stuff.

Next, if you want to have the codec for whatever reason, you can find it and install it here, its where I usually go for them when I need something, like .OGG and soforth.

And as Eddy88 said, using the freemake converter will let you edit (cut, and transition, as well as combine files) and upload them to Youtube. A suggestion however when you do, convert them to FLV format, because when you upload to youtube, it automatically converts video files to that format anyway, it can just take a long time to do it, if its already a FLV format then it goes much quicker.

MrEon :   Wow thank you for getting back to me on this, sounds like this is you're area of expertise in my opinion. I was wondering how I convert it to a FLV file because I've already been uploading my videos to youtube and I have also been having a bit of an annoyance downloading these 9 to 14 minute videos

Frodlex : Ah heck, I'm not expert XD but using the freecorder file conversion it has a option to change the format to FLV, below with all the icons showing what formats, just click the arrow to the right and you'll see it. Makes uploading to youtube so much easier.

And if you use Chrome, look in the chrome store for 'youtube downloader'.

And you can download vids much easier, you can convert them too I believe but it would be easier/faster to do it with the freecorder you have.
