I absolutely hate that it had to come to this, but now I am desperate. Me and my good bud GuardianZack has been looking into this. I even tried to contact the RGR staff, which I figured was a bad idea in the first place.

So yeah, this is getting pretty frustrating for me. Here is every bit of detail I have.

When I was a newbie it was there. Plain and simple. When I became a member, it is gone! I've tried everything from going to the profile editor and turning it on and off, switching to the old post editor and everything! Without this, posting becomes a bother for me, especially writing reviews.

I might not know a few things because I am new, so somebody please help me out?

Hmmm.... I'm not sure -quite- what to tell you.  Usually when you swap away to the OLD post editor, that's when the tool bar is gone. However, if you swap back to the new one, the toolbar should come back.  Are you on the NEW post editor right now?  Have you tried various browsers, and clearing your cookies?  I know clearing the cookies seems like a weird thing to do, but I had a similar problem on my own forum once, and I had to do a lot of troubleshooting.  For some odd reason, clearing the cookies fixed the problem.

Have you tried a hard re-start of your computer as well?

Singelli : Well, using different browsers it is a check. But clearing the cookies doesn't seem like a good idea to me. Wouldn't my data for games on Vizzed be deleted!? I would hate for that to happen. If it comes to that case, I just won't post on the forums... Oh yeah, I am using the new post editor. The new post editor is the same as the old! Oh and another thing, when I edit my post, my layout goes away also. This is just awful.

Bluey5 : ...... I'm pretty sure clearing your cookies would not delete your saved game.  I don't remember having any problems after doing so, though it was some time ago.  I guess you can just wait for someone else to respond then.  I'm sorry I couldn't be of more help.  LOL

The old and new post editors ARE different though, so something is certainly wrong if they look the same for you.

Singelli : It's OK. At least you TRIED to help. I don't think I am getting any other help though as I usually don't so I just might have to clear the cookies. Or not post on the forums. Thanks anyway.

When I read through your problem in PM, it seemed like you were only missing the New Post Editor in Reviews but not for regular posts in the forum. I thought you said the forum posts worked fine. Is the toolbar missing for you EVERYWHERE on Vizzed?

If that's the case, there has to be something on your end blocking it. Whether you're using browsers that are incompatible with the software used to load the toolbar or your browsers have scripts that are blocking that software, something about your setup is not allowing it to display.

If anyone else is having this problem, I'd like to know. Maybe I can narrow down the exact cause if those experiencing it also provide what browser(s) they use (including the version number) and what Operating System they use.

Crazy Li : Yeah, it is gone EVERYWHERE! Even now as I typed this it isn't here.

I only care for the word count anyway.

Secondly, this is all too complicated just for a measly toolbar/post count. I wouldn't even know what to tell you besides that I am using Firefox version 17. That is it and that is all. Not sure this is even able to helped anymore, which is why I said to leave it alone anyway.

I only wish I could figure out what is blocking it. Until then, it is useless.

It seems the problem is with Firefox 17 since I don't have the toolbar with the new post editor either.

In the latest Chrome and Internet Explorer the toolbar is there when using the new post editor though.

Edit: Just updated Firefox to 17.0.1 and the toolbar is there. Check for updates.

Well, there you have it. I never updated my FireFox so I never had that issue. Something they did with the update to version 17 made it incompatible but they already fixed it. Anyone who is having this issue, just upgrade to the latest version.

I'm going to consider this issue resolved now and close the thread. If there are any more problems, feel free to PM me.
