What do you think about the cries of Pokemon?

Is the anime right or the games?

Maybe I think the games are right, about giving cries to Pokemon.
The anime is simply boring.See this to know why.
Who would have seen an elephant calling out "EELLEEFANT EELEFHANT!"?

Here's an example:
A wild bear is in the Pokemon world.Now.....

Anime version
Bear says: "beaar,!beeeaaarrr!!"

Games:
Bear says: "GROOUUH,GROOUUH!!!"

Is this right?

Hahaha. My first thought was a bird called the 'goatsucker'. So now I imagined standing there yelling "GOATSUCKER".

Or even better, an antelope called the 'dik-dik'. So it hears a hunter, runs off screaming "DIK-DIK!!! DIK-DIK!!!!"

Pokémon names may have originated from their cries...  And the in game cries in recent games actually resemble the names more often.

gamegirlxl : Well, you had to tell what do you think about this, not tell how the cries originated. So your post is spam.

Local Mods: My thread is dead and old you can close this.

The games are right. Anime sucks in my opinion. Another example: A gengar comes up to you. In the game it sounds mysterious, while in anime it screams 'Gen-gar, Gen-gar gengar!' Makes no sence

The game is right. Your example was a good one and showed how stupid the anime pokemon cries were.

That's actually a very funny observation and it's true. Now that you mention it, the games seem the most correct about the cries XD
