Hey guys, mikeness here I need to know if there is a ips patcher for iPad or any iOS device.

Starting out I have my hacked rom file and the original copy (Legal copy and everything)

I looked on cydia, I see SNES A.D.X which has an auto ips patcher, but the 1 problem is the sound cuts out periodically I need to know if I can ips patch on an iPad so I can play rom hacks of my favorite games

Go-Iowa : I have gone ahead and moved this thread to the computer programming/technology section as I believe it is the appropriate forum. I might be wrong but it seems to be the only logical place other than the help section where it would belong. Thanks for giving us a heads up.

Do you have anything OTHER than iOS that you can use? There are tons of IPS patchers for Windows and even a few for Mac OSX... but I haven't heard of any made for iOS. If you have a regular computer, you could always patch on that and then transfer the file to your iPad.

I have done what you suggested ^ and the ips was patched successfully, I used a clean rom and all that but when i tried to use it on my emulators (plus others on the cydia jailbreak store including snes a.d.x, snes9x, and snes.emu) it would load up the rom with a black screen. It seems like it plays a bunch of the games sounds all at once (eargasm) and just gives black screen. I am starting to think that i just cant play any of this on ios.. i am very sad. If there is an unknown solution plzzzz tell me

Does your iOS emulator support the game normally? Like before patching? Not all emulators support all games. If it doesn't support the game before patching, it's very unlikely it'll play it after patching.

If the emulator DID play the game fine at first, did you test the patched ROM on the system you patched it on? Just because your IPS Patching program said it patched successfully doesn't mean the game works. See if it works on an emulator running on the same OS you used for patching. If it doesn't play right there, something went wrong in the patching process.

Let me know the answers to these questions and I can help you more.
