So. I have been having an extremely difficult time catching Pokémon... and I am still in the beginning of the game. I have sold all of my items and spent all of my money buying poke balls, I got about 20, and I have used every one of them, and I have just managed to catch a 6th Pokémon. I just want to know, am I alone on this? Normally, level 3 Pokémon do not take 6 poke balls to catch. I have been paralyzing most of the Pokémon I encounter, and it still is not enough. Am I just sucking or is it the game? Help!

Nope you are not alone.... it seems like Poke balls are more weak than they where in the original games... spending 6+ poke balls on one of the Pokémon on the first route was common for me... So I went back with some Ultra Balls to catch those early Pokémon I skipped.
