1.) Download Any Video Converter. PC Download. Mac download. (Note: For mac, you'll have to scroll down the page to get to it. Download the right version aka intel or powerpc)
2.) Install AVC
3.) Make these your settings:
File type: Customized mp4 movie
Other settings here.
4.) Upload to Youtube
5.) Wait a few hours for your video to finish processing
6.) After a few hours have passed, watch your video and see it in HD

The video file isn't actually that large. It's still MUCH smaller than the normal avi.

That doesn't make your video HD. The video has to already be HD for you to activate HD. Also, &fmt-18 is the HighQuality code. &fmt=22 is the HD code.
