I played on the SEGA CD emulator yesterday and saved my progress with a save state as usual. I come back the next day and the load is glitched. You see the screen you're on but you can't do any command except for bringing up the title menu. Why doesn't it directly take me to where I last saved instead of glitching out on me by being on the screen where I last saved and be on a glitched out title screen as well?

This has been an ongoing problem with the Sega CD games since testing. See if you try to load a save state while the Sega CD is loading it sometimes will glitch out. If you let it go through it's load process it's usually fine.

That being said, you are better off using the in-game save.
