Well, I'm at the upper end of the spectrum for those willing to admit their age... I'm at 30 and quite new to vizzed still... but grew up on the intellivision and atari 2600 and apple II g... I remember getting my 486 dx66 with a 2600 baud modem and it being the nicest computer in town LOL.
But I'm getting off topic.  From looking at the people replying to this with their ages and doing an average (at the time of this post anyways) it is showing that the average age is approximately 23.4 years old.  BUT since the number of people who replied to this thread is far lower than the total number of members, my method for finding the average age is not accurate (especially when others have commented that they have seen 7 year olds on the site).

I'm currently 18, but I was 17 when I first found the site. Like a lot of people have said, I don't post much since the majority of users are younger than me and I don't want to be a creep, even though I did hang out with younger kids a lot when I was in high school...

Anywho, to be frank, the main reason I've been using the forum as much as I have lately is because I realized that if I sold all of my current games on Vizzed, I would be close to having enough to buy the V-Machine, and then I wouldn't have to do much else to get the rest of the way there. So, here I am posting on a semi-regular basis until then. Who knows, though? I might use the forum more than I think I will after that.

I'm 18 so I'm either in the middle of the age groups or a little more leaning toward the older crowd. Knowing that, the whole age differences among members doesn't personally bother me, because we are all just here to play these games. Even though some members weren't around when these games were at their prime, to me its a good thing that they're giving them a second wind to compare on what's around now a days.

I'm going to be 24 yrs old soon and a loved one of mine who I got to join the site is in his early 30's.

We couldn't resist when we saw what this site had to offer. There are too many games filled with plenty of childhood memories to just ignore it. If it makes you feel better OP, one of the main reasons as to why I joined this site is because of the Pokemon games. Don't be ashamed of being on the "old" side of the gamer world. It just means that we've had the luxury of remembering when these games were on their original consoles/handhelds.
