Hi, when I try to play this game (Ys I: Ancient Ys Vanished)  with the RGR plugin the visual image seems to be stuck on whatever image it first has (loading screen on initial startup, gray screen on reset). The Rom has been fully downloaded and I can hear the initial musical cues that signify it is playing, but the screen seems to be stuck. It seems to work fine with the Java version (the screen isn't "stuck" with java), but I would rather play the game with the RGR plugin.

EDIT: Actually, Now that I realize it i'm having trouble with sms games in general (I have just tried playing Spy vs. Spy),  I am in 16-bit mode right now, so that isn't the issue.

Edit#2: I guess I used up my one thread for the day, though now I need help with sms games. Can someone help me?

You should be in 32-bit for this game system actually - it probably wasn't explained somewhere that Sega Genesis and Sega Master System aren't built within the RGR Plugin with the same emulator; just Sega Genesis, and possibly Sega CD, needs the monitor in 16-bit.

Try it in 32-bit and let me know if the problem remains - I just tested it with the Plugin and it works fine.

tRIUNE : Okay, I've tried it in 32-bit mode and the problem is persisting; I don't know what to say.

Edit: If it helps to narrow down my problem, when I try pressing the pause button the music keeps playing.

Edit#2: Out of curiosity, it there any thread that talks about things like this (Sega genesis needing 16-bit, this can happen because of this, etc.), because it seems like I've been ramming my head against walls a lot lately, and I think that there should be a thread like this (if there isn't one already).

Edit#3: I still need help....

Final Edit: Seeing as it has been 24 hours, I think I should make another thread describing my troubles in the appropriate forum, seeing as that my problem is with all sms games, not just ys. If you could remove this thread for me, I would be very appreciative; Ys I is not the problem.
