I agree, the Wii U would be perfect for you since you have most of Ninendo's systems. I would say that a PS3 or an Xbox 360 is good, but only if you get them for a good deal since a lot of PS4 or Xbox 720 (or whatever the next Xbox is called) seems to be coming out in a couple of years.

I say the WiiU (pick deluxe if your going to play with it a LOT) the wiiU has many of new feature,games for it , u can even watch TV!!!!AMAZING!

I would suggest getting one of the newer generation consoles, me I have all the new ones and some old ones, i'm looking to get a wiiu, anyway, i would suggest a ps3, xbox 360, or wii, cause remember, newer consoles can play games from older consoles of that model, basically if you have a ps3, you can play ps1 and ps2 games on it, not to mentgen the newer consoles have built in memory cards. You should also try your hand at one of the portable game systems, psp ds psvita and 3ds are pretty popular, so i hope this helps ya.

You seam like a retro gamer so if you want something retro I would get something from the game boy series. The graphics are great and the sound is clear. There are also many models to choose from like the original or the game boy advance. if you want something new I would get the wii u or Xbox.

My current PS3 Slim works but the hard drive needs to be replaced. (Firmware update a few months ago had problems, ended up corrupting the drive.) If I could afford it I would buy every console out there. I have probably owned most of the consoles to come out over the last 35 years with the exception of maybe three so my love for video games is extremely deep and I would love it if I could make my own personal mini arcade one day.
