After playing Majora's Mask and The Ocarina of Time, I noticed something about Ikana and the forest temple.
The symbol of Ikana, as it appears in the stone tower temple, also appears in the forest temple. The symbol I'm talking about is
the strange decor that houses the blood red jewel that you would shoot with light arrows to invert the tower.

Also, the only place where the triforce appears within Termina is on Ikanite structures, other than the Hero's shield, so the Ikanites might be the only     people in Termina who know about the triforce. The triforce also appears in the forest temple.

The poe sisters can be seen in both of these games in the two aforementioned areas.

So, I was wondering. . . did the kingdom of Ikana build the forest temple as a stronghold against Hyrule in some war long ago?
That would explain the stalchilds in hyrule field during the night.

i once read on a zelda site the story behind that is the trifoce originally was gaurded by the hyrulian royal family later in a great war the inkans were great allies of the hyrulians in the end almost all incans where destroyed but some sole surviors started the society anew others became part of th hyrulian society but never lost touch to there roots and spread customs and legends  dealing with the triforce to other icans and that is the deal of the triforce in ican psocity it doesn't reaveal who they said that is a compony secret and the poe sister i'm not sure but i think it said they where both soilders in the war that died when one died the other killed herself cause she was depressed cause of her sisters death

glad i could help answer your questions and sorry i was typing in a hurry i only had 2 minutes to type all that and yes that's why she was crying and i double checked the poe sisters thing i said is now confirmed oh and i forgot to mentio yes the forest temple was an ican structure and the grat duku tree helped with that strangly he was also an ican but i guess it makes sense since he guards the whole forest and the forest temple is part f it and he knew so much about the triforce
