I agree that the franchise is going downhill. The only all Sonic game I like is the original one. I do like the Mario and Sonic at the Olympic Games though.

With the recent games it's been developing, it's a pretty clear sign that the Sonic franchise is dying, and dying fast. Yeah, you can't re-create what was made in the past that put Sonic on the map, that's been attempted before, but you need the correct elements to it, have the right plot, and have the right development.

The franchise has went downhill but made a rebound with Sonic Colors, Sonic Generations, and the most recent game Sonic and Sega All-Stars Racing.  Right now, Sonic may not be dead yet.
