I was playing Stadium 2 on my old N64 and decided to bring in my OP Level 100 Mewtwo to just run over Prime Cup

Right after pressing Start at the main menu, a "Game Pak Check" appears that displays how many controllers are connected and which of them have Transfer Paks with Pokémon games in them.

It acknowledges that I have Pokémon Red connected, but there's also an odd message above the controller. It says "Warp to the present time." Does anyone have any idea what that means? Google wasn't much help.
