Please can someone tell me if it is possible to mute the game I am playing, I'd like to listen to music through my computer whilst playing, however the game sounds drown out the music. 

Any help will be appreciated

For the Vizzed emulator and possibly other emulators you can click on your volume button, Mixer and if you see the emulators name there then just mute it. I'm not completely sure if it will be there or not since i have not used the Vizzed emulator in awhile. Also matters what internet browser you use (Like Internet Explorer and Google Chrome)

I think it might be possible to disable sound in SNES games through the emulator itself. If you're playing SNES games through the RGR Plugin, hitting Esc brings up the entire emulator's menu. Since you have access to the full menu and all its options, you should be able to go to the sound settings and turn it off as a work-around for muting. No other emulators give you full menu access at the moment, though.
