I mean I know it is a old show but why is it not on DVD it was a good show with robin saying stuff like holy smokes batman!
and when batman or the bad guys  hit words like pow or zap would be there on screen you know the one Adam west played as batman.

Well there are a couple of theories on why it hasn't been released on DVD. Some people think it could be a licensing issue between FOX and WB. Others (and this is the theory I think is likely) think it is because DC is trying to play down the image of the old campy batman and push the image of batman as the dark knight.

I still see this show popping up on retroTV or METV... basically TV stations dedicated to old shows. I suppose it had some kind of unique charm to it... but many people just think that it was stupid and a poor representation of what Batman is. I'm not really surprised they haven't made a DVD release.

Was this show bad? When I was a kid I love the show I would watch it when it came on the jokes were funny the voices were
clear and I can hear them good the story was great even robin saying something dumb is funny like holy smokes batman!

Some people consider it to be bad because it was too goofy. Even the Batman CARTOON was more serious than the Adam West Batman show. All the "Pow!" "Bam!" comic book nonsense is one of the bigger complaints... plus screenwork wasn't that great in those days, so a lot of the scenes looked cheesy by today's standards.
