So as the name suggest... share your saddest anime moment. Mine was in angel beats where they all find their happiness and disappear I cant remember what its called because that was a long time ago. But it actually made me cry

Mine would be in Sonic X( and yes... the Japanese version of it.) where Tails had to kill Cosmo. Imagine having to kill someone that you love.

Clannad after story cried all night after watching it, still haven't finished it as I always cry when I watch it >.< very good story line but still very very sad story.

Ok so I know it didn't end up sad but, I remember crying as a kid when ash let pikachu go to be with the other pikachu's that was a sad moment

The end of Death Note When Kira dies! It was so sudden. I sat there looking at his dead body thinking. "This is so insane!" But I got over with it but a great series overall.

In Naruto when Jiraiya dies and Itachi.

The last episode of Cassern Sins. The part where the girl dies was very sad from me. The romance between her and Cassern was very sweet and it made me tear up when she dies. I'm manly enough to admit it.

I'll hafta second the OP with Angel Beats. Just Yui's passing on halfway through was a pretty emotional tear-jerker of a scene but then at the very end they decided to take that and drama it up tenfold.

I don't really think any other anime has ever even brought me close to crying. I tend not to watch sad stuff :x

My saddest anime moment would probably have to be when Asuma was killed in battle on Naruto Shippuden. That broke my heart when I saw that. It was just bull crap how it happened, too.

There have been several tear jerking moments in anime I can think of, like in the original Fullmetal Alchemist when

I think the saddest moment for me was learning about Crona's past in Soul Eater.

My saddest Anime moment was at the end of Angel Beats.  It upset me so badly that I couldn't stop crying.  I'm pretty sure there's a lot of people who would agree with me.

My saddest anime moment is Azumanga Daioh,the fact it ran for only 26 episodes,I wanted more 

Okay so I cried so hard when I saw this one scene in Full Metal Alchemist. When Ed was going to take the Alchemy exam, he stayed at this mans house who only had a daughter named Nina, because his wife "died" Well, we found out later in the episode, that the man actually combined his wife with an animal to make a talking Chimera. The only thing that she said was "I want to die" And then she just stopped eating and drinking, and eventually died. But this wasn't the scary part. Here it is. The man, actually combined his 3 or 4 year old daughter with the house pet, which was a white dog. Ed came down into the basement and saw the Chimera. But then he realized something and said "Wheres Nina....AND WHERES THE DOG???" The man began to laugh, and said that he transformed them into a perfect talking Chimera. This Chimera (Nina and the dog) went up to Ed and said "You said you were going to play with me" Ed began to cry, and then the Chimera ran out of the house. The Chimera then met with Scar, and he stated to her saying that she must be miserable, and in so much pain. Then it cut out and Ed is running on the street looking for it, and goes by an alley, and sees the formation of the Chimera on the stone wall, but in blood. You could see where the brain exploded. She was blown up from the inside. 

THIS made me cry, because you got to know Nina very well in the two episodes she featured in. I cry every single time I see that scene.

Saddest moments for me were: Clannad Afterstory when Nagisa died and the kid (Forgot her name) died. Naruto when Jiraya died (yes I have seen the scene, brought me to tears, didn't cry though) and Angel Beats (My favorite series so far) Pretty much the last episode and Yui's song that she made that played along with it ;-;

my saddest anime moment is when asuna dies(found ot 5 min later she's not really dead) in sword art online i even started crying you know just they build up a character then they just kill them.

ShinyEevee : I’m not real big into anime as some people but there is one I can remember from the original land before time movie from when I was little. The scene where the mother dies was very sad to watch. There isn’t much else I can think of offhand but that is one thing that automatically comes to mind in terms of sad scenes etc.

bvd1022 : dude the land  before time is not anime not even close.
