To start off I play my games with an xbox usb controller. Ok, so I can't play any N64 games, because nothing I set as the analog stick works, it's not my controller since it works fine with games like Oblivion. Also the reason I think it's a problem with 1964 specifically is because when playing a game with RGR plugin instead, if I wanted to use the analog stick to move my character, I can. I tested it out, I'm just not sure if I'm the only one with the problem. I tried everything I can think of, which honestly isn't much, but I tried completely remapping the keys, I tried to use xpadder, and I did it successfully, but still no luck. So maybe a problem with 1964? I found some threads that had something similar in it, but they weren't any help since it was just written off as a problem with the controller.

Could you try using the xpadder with the mupen emulator? It is pretty much a better emulator than the 1964 but I am unsure what xpadder all does so I don't know if this would work fully.

Pokémon x:  Yes, I could try it, but I would need to know which keys are used in the emulator, I must have tried every key that made sense just to get to the start menu, but nothing worked.

Edit: While the problem with 1964 still persists, I managed to make it work with mupen. I do wish that 1964 can be fixed, since it is so much easier to use, but since technically my problem is fixed, I guess you can close this thread.
