My mom gave the OK to sell my laptop. Here's the gameplan:

I give LOADS of customization for whoever buys my laptop(like what browser(s)they want, what freeware they want, etc), a choice between Windows Vista, Linux Ubuntu, and Opensolaris for the OS, etc. Basically, I'll be personalizing the computer for them.
I'll sell my laptop for $1700. It'll sell, believe me. With that, I can buy a 2nd-grade Macbook, an HP Mini 1000 netbook(for my mom) & a PSP 3000.

I'll tell you a little something if you think otherwise, but at the time of the post, I lack the time to do so. Tell me what ya think guys!

Good idea's offering the buyer choice of OS, the laptop came with Vista right?
So make sure that no matter what you send them Vista with it.
I wouldn't worry so much about giving them freeware, most will either not know what to do with it or will already have it.
But certainly you could offer a CD/DVD with software to the buyer, just make sure you don't send them pirated/cracked stuff

Maybe, but if your selling on ebay try not to overwhelm them with to much info.
Most cases specs and included software will be the clincher, only those in the know will even understand let alone ask for dual boot or anything other then Windows.
