Dear Mom, how have ya been? I've been good. School's been pretty good so far. The crops this year have been sparse, but thankfully I got a job feeding the horses, and milking the cows. You know. They're also teaching me to be a proper young woman. Just like the way you always did before you sent me to live with Auntie Grace. They taught me what it meant to be the lonely housewife you always were. I've been doing my best to help the family and feed the cattle back at our home, on the farm. I miss home. America's great, but I miss our home country, Spocksland. I hope to be home soon!

P.S. I need a graphic calculator for Trig class. It's required. So thanks. $25 for rent from the teacher. It must be returned in working order, and the $25 will be deposited back.

LOL  This did give me a good laugh. What was it for?  Was it an assignment with some kind of theme, or did your teacher ask you to write a letter simply to convince your parent to get you a graphing calculator?

Also, what was your mom's response?

Singelli : It was only for the graphing Calculator. My teacher only wanted it to be about that, but I put my own little twist on it. Haha. My mom's reply was a good laugh, and that she'll find one.

Wahah! Oh James, you're such a card. I love doing that kind of crap to my mom. Sometimes when I call home I'll ask about Old Yeller and weird crap and she always laughs.

Also, this reminds me of one time when Lazlo's sergeants told him he needed to check in during the weekend, so Lazlo sent him this huge text telling him how it's been many a moon since he laid eyes on him (it had been a day) and that he missed him more than he could bear. And he threw in something about his kids Elizabeth and Geoff or something and how Geoff is courting someone down the way and Elizabeth is in off at school or something, I don't know. It was ridiculous. But, it was awesome. In typical Army sergeant douchebag fashion, the response was "lol ok???"

Because even if you're in the Army, you still reply to texts like a preteen girl.

Anywho, you should start leaving heartfelt notes for your mother every time you need something. It'd be hilarious until she was sick of it and wanted to pound your face every time she saw a folded up piece of paper around the house.

I think if i ever did that to my mum.. She'd probably just laugh and insert something about how she always knew i was "special"

What I want to know is what on earth gave you the idea to write that seriously I haven't seen something so funny in a while you could try and be a comedian but if you do you will need to work on your voice and timing.
