I am going to perform a Nuzlocke Challenge, I normally don't but I decided I wanted to try one and put the screen shots up in here! My only problem is that I do not know what game I want to perform the challenge on, so that is where I need the community of Vizzed's help. Whoever posts up the first Pokémon game is the game that I will be running the challenge on. My rules are this:

1. Any Pokémon that faints must be released.
2. I can only catch the first Pokémon I see in an area, if it faints or flees then I must move on and cannot catch any more in that area
3. I must nickname all of my Pokémon.
4. I cannot use or catch Legendary Pokémon.
5. I can only use regular Poke balls and must put all other types of Poke balls in my PC.

So with that said, who has the game for me?

Can it be a hack?   Also, is it just games on vizzed.  If so every time you beat a gym or catch a Pokemon update it with screenshots.
  It would also be very funny if you kept track of all the Pokemon that died and their levels so at the end of the game post a list with all of the dead Pokemon.

Pokefreak219 : I will do it on Emerald (mainly because my computer won't run DS games correctly)

mourinhosgum : Keeping track of the dead Pokémon and their levels is a great idea I think I will do that, but I will not be playing it on vizzed.

I will be starting this soon, so stay tuned to see the screen shots.

Also in the Pokemon death you should include what route or gym they died at so we know what was harder for you or when they died.

I love watching Nuzlocke challenges, but I don't have the heart to really try them myself. Mostly because I'm already extremely picky with party members to choose from and I almost always have to have a Pikachu in my games with me. I will trade/cheat/hack one in if I must.

I could Nuzlocke Pokemon Yellow, but I literally beat that game with only using Pikachu on the exception of HM slaves, so there'd be no point in that.


ANYWAYS, I will be keeping my eye on this thread and see how you do, especially because I've not actually played Emerald myself so this should be interesting to see. Good luck to you mate. =)

you should do it on pokemon gold because the game has really good starters and u should keep up the work on the other game i wanna join  just keep me posted and let me know what teams are available and when the competition starts thanks.

Okay so I started my Nuzlocke Challenge on Emerald, I didn't get as far as I would have liked too (I had some other things I needed to take care of) but I do plan on going on with this here is what I have so far:



The title screen (obviously lol)



We just moved to Littleroot Town



Oh my god you guys, my dad is on tv sometimes! lol



My first Pokémon battle (I always seem to choose fire starters)



I decided I would nickname him Hothead (seems suitable I think) I usually don't nickname my Pokémon at all so this may drive me crazy but I have too it is part of the challenge

Anyway, that is all I have for right now but stay tuned there will be some more! Also I will list every Pokémon that I have caught and all that have 'died' along my journey and what level and what route/battle that this happened (as requested by mourinhosgum)
