Hey, everyone! Just another nostalgia hunter whose quest brought him here reporting!

Though I spend most of my time dabbling about modern games on the PC, I have never forgotten my roots. As of yet, I have owned an NES, an SNES, a PlayStation, a PlayStation 2, and as of recent, a PlayStation 3.

For the past few years, I have been rather enjoying Tool Assisted Speed run videos, and actually playing the games to remind myself of the challenge of the games very much enhances the experience!

To be perfectly honest, I am not sure what I have to offer for this community as of yet. There are people quite a bit more capable then me when it comes to offering folks new to retro games tips. We will have to wait and see.

I love to play on those game system a lot (family is oldschool) in the past. I hope that you will have a great time on vizzed, and enjoy the stuff they got here.

marcus911 : Good question! Both my brother and I love Metal Gear Solid - the entire series, actually, regardless of system! The Final Fantasy games for the PlayStation were tons of fun (Granted, I watched him more than actually played. I love the stories!) Crash Bandicoot brings back some memories. I love Spyro! Dragons are kind of my thing! We did some Tony Hawk, a LOT of Twisted Metal, many rounds of Tekken, and some scatterings of Jet Moto!

...All that in no particular order. I am sure there were more. I suppose you could say that we did a little bit of everything. Gaming Jack-Of-All-Trades, so to speak!

How about yourself? What was your collection?

Every single one of those games you've mentioned I've played and owned at one time. *-*

Oh! I completely forgot to mention: I did quite a lot of DDR as well! I got pretty good at it, too, if I do say so myself!

See people; here's a guy I like. You all should be more like him.


Unfortunately I was never good at DDR. Not that I couldn't dance; but the fact the dance pad kept sliding everywhere on my floor... I'm standing in front of the TV one moment, and right up against the wall the next...

Welcome to the site. I'm sure you've already noticed how friendly everyone here is. It's a really helpful community too so I hope you enjoy it here. There's lots of neat retro games to bring back nostalgia and even discover stuff you never even knew existed.

Sairek Ceareste : Oh man.... I know all about that O.o. We ended up getting some rather nice foam dance pads. They did slide around a bit, but certainly to a lesser degree. Of interesting note, after a while I automatically compensated for the movement and feel of the pads. Whenever I played DDR at an arcade, my performance noticeably decreased while I adjusted to the far superior arcade platform. Figures, eh?

Crazy Li :  Yes! Everyone does indeed seem very friendly here! As a computer guy armed with rather adequate Google-fu, I am not sure how much help I will require. My hope, perhaps, is to become one of said helpers. Time shall tell.

Shockwave9000 : Wow you just hit me with nostalgia... Final fantasy 7 was my favorite game of allll time!!! and I used to play crash , spiro, and tony hawk all the time too !! :-)

marcus911 : Hee hee, glad to hear it. The funny thing is that I have both my PS1 and PS2 and have not partaken in quite a while. I should hook 'em back up and relive my "later" childhood!

Shockwave9000 : No problem dude, if you want, you can add me as friend if you like, just go to my profile by clickign my username and click Add as friend, if oyu want to add a special title to a certain friend list, you can click on 'other' after clicking on add friend, and type a special name for a list of friends added to it, but do it if you want.
