I was curious to know what everyone here prefers. Do you like to take showers or baths? I take showers more often but I do enjoy taking a nice hot aroma therapy bubble bath whenever I'm in severe pain. I like to use those aroma therapy scented candles and just listen to soothing music and relax. Having the physical conditions I do, sometimes a hot bath can do wonders. You would be surprised how much it helps pain and or body aches.

The faucet for my bathtub is broken. So I have to use the shower head....



...which I aim down as if it WAS a faucet and take my bath THAT way.



Takes 10 times longer for the water to fill up but that's 10 times longer I get to relax in the tub~

I take showers because my older cousin had once told me that when you take baths you are just washing in your own dirt, because once you get the dirt off of you you are just picking it back up when you put your bath towel back in the water. Every since he told me that i haven't took a bath.

Also for what mr.keys said, I never actually put my bath towel IN the water. I drain it and then get out and wrap the towel around me, same as I would after a shower.

You do soak in dirty water in a bath though. What I typically do after a bath is drain all the water out and then turn on the shower to rinse off.

I used to love taking baths when I was younger, but when I discover that you're "Bathing in your own fiilth"... I rarely take baths now.... Anyway, showers are way quicker than baths (at least for me....)

To get clean, I definitely prefer showers.  It seems to be much cleaner to me, seeing as you are giving room for the dirty water to run off your body.

However, if I just want to relax, I MIGHT do a bath.

I still find it easier to relax in the shower though, especially if it's hot.

SunflowerGaming : I have a friend who wanted to relax in the shower too so what he did was buy one of those shower stools to sit in his shower and relax. He also has an adjustable shower head that has a mist setting that basically creates this really neat type of shower experience, according to him.

Crazy Li : The shower chair is a good idea but where I live I believe you need the Doctor to help you get one. And I can't do that with the shower head because I rent an apartment. It's not like I live in a house I own or am buying.

SunflowerGaming : Are you sure you can't replace the shower head? You should ask your landlord to make sure because my friend rents and he did it. You just have to make sure to save the original shower head so they can put it back on when you move out. And he was lucky enough to get a shower chair thingy at the local WalMart or something.
