I never noticed any sound effects issue myself. What game(s) for what system(s) did you experience this in?

It's possible that your computer might just be running slow or something. Hard to say without more information.

It also depends on which emulator within the plugin you are experiencing the problem with. Most likely it is an issue with a particular rom or emulator. Some of them, like the ZSNES, have a Control Panel where you can adjust things such as sound and graphics. Though if you go adjusting the emulators in a way that they may conflict with the RGR-Plugin, problems could potentially occur there as well. It may be a problem with the audio settings of your pc, but then again it could just be a fluke. It couldn't hurt to try a fresh reinstall if the problem persists to the point of being unbearable for you. I can't assure it would help, but when there are complications that you can't put your finger on, it never hurts to try.
