There is already a thread like this.  You should go post your thoughts there.  If you wish to get a game placed on vizzed talk to tRIUNE.  Otherwise there is no need for this thread.

The general response is that disc based systems are highly unlikely to appear in the RGR anytime soon. Discs hold a LOT of data... a standard CD can hold up to 700MB of data. A standard DVD can hold up to 4GB. It would really be difficult for Vizzed to host files of that size that are constantly being downloaded. Even Sega CD might end up being strenuous, but they're doing an experiment with a really old disc system that didn't have incredibly large files. I think Sega CD ISOs had a tendency to range between 50-200MB or something in that area... to compare, Playstation 1 games were more like 200-700MB on average. Playstation 2 games are more like 1-4GB on average.

Now let's look at the old games you typically see on RGR from cartridge-based systems...

Gameboy games range from 256KB to 4MB (the larger being the higher budget, late-life GBC games) Pokemon Red was 1MB, for instance.

NES games range from 128KB to 512KB from my experience... that's ridiculously small.

SNES seem to range between 1MB and 6MB for the really ambitious ones

Genesis games seem to range between 512KB and 4MB.

The most modern system on there is GBA, which still have file sizes as low as 1MB... though the upper end is more like 32MB.

N64 sports the most complicated and largest games... smaller ones are like 8MB, larger ones can exceed 60MB.

All of that still doesn't compare to ISOs.
