I listened to those bands growing up. Good classic bands, though. I am more in to the heavier stuff. Such as: As I Lay Dying, All That Remains, Slipknot, Lamb Of God, Burn The Priest, As Blood Runs Black, Bury Your Dead. Etc. I go to local metal shows here in town and I love them. Thanks for the response. Much appreciated. I have many more bands I could name that I listen to but there are I few that I do. I like the screaming and growling vocals. I'll list more in the future.

My first love was Metal. Now and days I gravitate more toward 90's Hip Hop, Contemporary Folk and Alt. Rock but I still love Metal. Some of my favorite bands include Megadeth of course, Slough Feg, Darkthrone, Ulver (Hell, I still liker Ulver and they don't really make metal anymore) and Dio. Iron Maiden deserves an honorable mention as well. Even though I don't really listen to them anymore that much I'll never forget how much I loved the band when I was younger.

If you like the "hardcore" music and also know Spanish then you'll probably enjoy hearing Skacore bands, It has the similar adrenaline. It's fun singing to it, dancing to it (skanking), and moshing to it.

I'm a pretty big fan of a lot of metal bands.  Some of my favorites are The Red Chord, Mastodon, Underoath, Every Time I Die, System of a Down, and VYGR (Voyager), Maylene & the Sons of Disaster, and Norma Jean.  This is just a few, though.  You guys need to listen to VYGR.  They're not well know but they're extremely awesome.

Even though it's not exactly Metal, I do like KoRn's Path of Totality quite a bit.
My ultimate favorite metal would have to be Megadeth, though I do like Metallica's pre-90's stuff and Anthrax's 90's stuff. Never did get into Slayer.
I do like All That Remains... Except for the album A War You Cannot Win. It sounds as mainstream as they could possibly get.
I think, though, that my favorite metal album of all time would have to be Rage Against The Machine's eponymous album. I mean, come on, you can't out-do "Know Your Enemy". That track is the ultimate in beastdom.
