So I can't think of any songs to learn on my guitar, I already know quite a few. I play mostly metal and punk styles of music but I am willing to try anything. Can someone please help me out and think of a song so that I can try to figure it out, I am working really hard on expanding my repitare and writing out more tabs for myself. If I can get my mic to work I might even make videos of my playing if anyone is interested in that. But anyway, I would really appreciate the help.

Here's an interesting idea: Why not learn to play your favorite game music? Perhaps you can even figure out how to arrange some sort of rock/metal remix of some song you've listened to a lot playing your favorite game. You can find a lot of examples of that kinda stuff floating around on youtube and OCremix. If I ever got an actual musical instrument, I would totally use it to play VGM.

I know how to play breaking the law by Judas Priest and Crazy Train by Ozzy I know a few by Red Hot Chili Peppers too, but I haven't learned that one yet I think I will give that one a shot. I'm a huge guitar player I love the instrument so much, I was recently working on playing some Metallica stuff I got down the opening solo to Master of Puppets and the whole intro to Fade to Black. I also have some other stuff by them done, I don't know when I am going to get started on making videos but I predict it won't be long now.

You should look up John Frusciante guitar solos. His best one in my opinion is live in Hyde Park. He had a killer guitar solo intro into Californication. It is worth a listen, and it would be pretty impressive if you could play that.

Also maybe some Pearl Jam might interest you.
