Hey fellows. I'm Wolfsc, or Wolf for short. As you could probably could tell, I'm new to this forum. I found this while searching about information about the Dreamcast. My fellow associate at work told me that the Dreamcast was able to play burned games as well as homebrew.

As for now I have to dig my old system from the deep depths of my closet, but I can't wait to try it. I loved that system.

Now, as far as me being a part of a forum, I am more of a lurker, but I'll put in input when I feel it is needed.

Yes indeed your DC can play burnt games and homebrew.
I think you need a mod chip and/or a boot disk, but dont quote me on it as I dont have a DC
Pop over to http://www.get-your-rom.com/ if you havnt already for some great DC games you can burn to disk

If you have any problems with anything be sure to ask and we'll try and help you out with them.
Also be sure to check "THE RULES".

ok seems you dont need a boot disk if its a cdi file and so long as the DC isnt a certain model.
