Most trainers have a Marill or Shroomish. When you see them go to the pokedex description of the 2. There, you can find the location tab under the description.

Yes but it doesn't show the location of the pokemon unless you have encountered them in the wild. It just says "location unknown".

It shouldn't have done that, because I've seen a Golem and I've been able to see where it *would* be located. Here's where they should be:

Marill: Routes 102,118,The safari zone(area 2),and sootopolis(surf at all locations)

Shroomish: Honestly, have no idea. maybe in the first few routes you start out on, or you can catch breloom on routes 117 and somewhere on victory road.
