Dishonored is a completely open stealth/action title from Arkane Studios; the same people that brought us the very well received first person dungeon crawler Arx Fatalis. In the game you play as an Assassin with Paranormal abilities and are sent on missions to 'get rid of' various targets. When I use the term open I mean that the game plays very much like Thief and the classic Deus Ex. There are no hints and the levels are completely open to explore. The developers pretty much give you the tools and say "go." It's a style of game design that has been absent far too long since the advent of console gaming began catering to a more mainstream market. It is my most anticipated game of the year and I hope that through this thread we might share our excitement.
